Banasthali University – Working for Women’s Education Since 1935

Banasthali University, located in Rajasthan, was founded in 1935 by eminent freedom fighters and educationists, Pt. Hiralal Shastri the first Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Smt. Ratan Shastri honoured with Padma Bhushan by President of India and Jamna Lal Bajaj award for her service to the cause of women’s education. Since 1935 the institution has been working for empowering women with the weapon of education. Today more than 15,000 students are educated in Banasthali University in the areas of Arts, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Management, Design, Humanities, Education, Social Sciences etc.

The university has been graced & praised time and again with the visits of eminent personalities like Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, Smt. Indra Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Shri Keshub Mahindra, Shri Anand Mahindra, Dr. Swati Piramal, Ms. Anu Aga, Shri K.V. Kamath, Shri Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Shri Somnath Chatterjee, Shri Rahul Bajaj, Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya etc.

The directors of Eyebridge Mr. Jagrit Gupta & Mr. Vivek Pratap Singh Rathore have been cordially invited by the faculty of Banasthali University to share their insights on the process of ideation to be an entrepreneur through their experience of more than 9 years in the digital industry with the students through an interactive session. The session will be held at the university on 8^th January 2017.
